The Mother’s Sacred Seats
Nepal Shaktipeeths Tour
The Shakti of the Mother rests in many seats across Nepal — this tour circles the greatest of them, from the valley peeths of Kathmandu to the high Bhagwati ridges and the cable-car shrine of Manakamana.
Yatra Overview
“Wherever the Mother’s body fell, the earth became a peeth — Nepal is a garland of such holy places.”
The Shaktipeeths are the seats of the Goddess, places where the body of Sati is believed to have rested and the earth became charged with Shakti. Nepal holds some of the most powerful: Guhyeshwari on the Bagmati, Dakshinkali of the valley’s edge, Bhadrakali and Shobha Bhagawati within the old city, Bajrayogini of Sankhu, and beyond the valley Palanchowk, Kalinchowk and Manakamana.
This 11-day tour circles these peeths in a gentle order, with full darshan and pandit-led puja at each, evening aartis where tradition allows, and quiet time for personal japa and meditation.
Nights are in comfortable hotels and hill guest houses with pure veg sattvik meals throughout — a complete Shakti sadhana journey for devotees of the Mother.
