Khaptad & Badimalika Trek — A Sacred Himalayan Spiritual Journey
Walk the sacred far-west from the meditation meadows of Khaptad Baba to the hilltop Devi of Badimalika at 4,200 m — a spiritual camping trek of forests, high kharkas, daily yoga and profound Himalayan silence.
Yatra Overview
“In the green meadows of Khaptad the sage still sits in silence — and at Badimalika, the Mother answers those who climb.”
The Khaptad & Badimalika Spiritual Trek is a rare and deeply devotional Himalayan journey through the pristine landscapes of far-western Nepal, combining the serene wilderness of Khaptad National Park with the great pilgrimage of Badimalika Bhagawati. Away from Nepal’s busy tourist trails, the route passes peaceful forests, rolling green meadows, remote mountain valleys and traditional communities.
Khaptad is inseparable from Khaptad Baba (Swami Sachchidananda), the revered master who meditated here for decades; his legacy makes the region a living place of yoga, silence and self-discovery. From its meadows the journey continues to Badimalika Bhagawati at approximately 4,200 m, one of the most revered Devi pilgrimages of the far-west, where sincere prayers are believed to be fulfilled.
This is not an ordinary trekking holiday: long uphill and downhill days on remote trails are balanced with daily open-air yoga, meditation, prayer and campfire reflection, supported by comfortable camping, experienced spiritual guides and pure veg sattvik meals throughout. Come prepared to walk beyond the ordinary — and carry the silence of the sacred far-west home with you.
