Where Three Waters Meet the Lion-Lord
Narasimha Dham Triveni Ganga Sadhana Tour
At the Triveni confluence the waters of three rivers braid into one holy stream — and on its bank the Narasimha Dham waits for those who come to bathe, chant and offer homa to the Lion-Lord.
Yatra Overview
“In the braid of three rivers the Lord who protects his devotees rests — bathe, and the fear you carried dissolves downstream.”
The Narasimha Dham at the Triveni confluence — the sangam of the sacred rivers of the Narayani basin — is one of Nepal’s most powerful sites for snan, pitra rites and Narasimha sadhana. Pilgrims bathe at the braid of three waters and offer puja to the Lord in his lion form, the protector of devotees.
This 7-day sadhana tour gives two full days at the Dham — ritual snan, Narasimha puja and a river-bank homa with our pandit team — framed by darshan at Pashupatinath in Kathmandu and the Valmiki Ashram heritage of the Chitwan valley on the return.
It is especially recommended for those seeking protection, courage and the release of fear, and for families performing pitra tarpan at the sangam.
